How do I control the appearance of my content on FaceBook?

When your users are sharing the content from your web site on FaceBook you can control what content is displayed on FaceBook by using the opengraph Meta Data Object.

Every product, product category, blog, news and press pages contain a section called Meta Data Objects.

To control what content is displayed on FaceBook click on the Show link found right before the text saying Meta Data Object: opengraph.


1. When editing the Title text field you will be editing the title that will be shared on the FaceBook.

2. Select a type value from the dropdown list.

3. Provide a link to the image that will be shared on FaceBook.

4. Set the URL for this page.

5. Write a description.

6. Set the locate code.

7. Write the site name.

8. Provide an UPC code.

9. Provide an ISBN code.

10. Save.
