Marketing Tools Examples

In this tutorial we are going show you how to use some of the marketing tools Web Cube provides to help increase your sales. 

 

Upsells on Cart

Upsells on cart - setup example

For this example we will sugest Surplus Jacket at a 20% discount when Slim Fit Jeans are added to the shopping cart.

 

1. Click on the Shop tab.

2. Click on the Upsell at Cart menu item.

3. Click on the Add cross sell button.

4. Click on the magnifying glass to select the product that has to be added to the shopping cart to sugest another product.

5. Click on the magnifying glass to select the suggested product.

6. Make sure Active is selected to activate this upsell.

7. A Start time can be set to activate this upsell at a specific date and time.

8. An End time can be set to deactivate this update at a specific date and time.

9. Set the priority for this cross sell. Priority is left to right ordering for all cross sells.

10. Select the sites where this cross sale will be visible.

11. You must add at least a 0% discount for the feature to be activated.

12. Select the currency for the discount.

13. Set the discount value for the suggested product.

14. Select the discount type from the dropdown list.

15. Click on the Save button when done.

Loyalty Program

  • Incentivize customers to become repeat customers with rewards
  • Drives customer loyalty and encourages follow up purchases

 

Loyalty program - setup example

For this example when customer purchases over $100, they get a Big Purchase Bonus of $10 store credit following fulfillment. This will be applied the next time they order.

 

1. Click on the Shop tab.

2.  Click on the Customer Rewards menu item.

3. Then click on the Rewards menu item ( not Reward events ).

4. Click on the Add reward button.

5. Provide a Name for this reward. This is what the customer sees after completing the order.

6. Checkmark the Active option.

7. Select the site where this reward will become active.

8. Set a Start time for this reward.

9. Set an End time for this reward.

10. Select the User places order option from the Event type drop down.

11. Select ordervalue option from the dropdown list then click on the Add link.

12. Add the subcondition ordervalue > 100 (no dollar symbols).

13. Next, select the Store Credit option from the Reward type dropdown list.

14. Set the store credit amount to 10.
